Prague, April 2017 –  Cook Communications provided public relations support to Tech Data during three events in Prague that focused on raising awareness about GDPR. The General Data Protection Regulation – which comes into effect in May 2018 – is the most important change in data privacy regulation in 20 years and is designed to protect and empower all EU citizens’ data privacy and to reshape the way organizations across the region approach this area.

Avnet TS was acquired by Tech Data earlier this year. Tech Data is one of the world’s largest wholesale distributors of technology products, services and solutions. Michal Procházka and Anna Mitchell worked together to secure coverage for Tech Data in the Czech mainstream and IT media.
